Terraria sunken sea.

I am playing on terraria 1.4.3 with Calamity Mod. I had a sunken pylon set up before entering hard mode and it was working fine. When I got into hard mode some corruption spawned right by where I had it so I had to move it. Cant find the bio lab under the sunken sea and the cyan seeker is not working either. I made another small world to check, cyan seeker did not work there plus i checked the entire map and could not find a lab there either. Sunken Sea is made of Navystone and Eutrophic Sand, and I don't believe those are corruptable. Far as I'm aware, none of the mod blocks have rules in place to be converted (Crimson/Corruption can only convert blocks on a specific list, and I don't believe Calamity mats are on that list).
